Oatmeal is good for you
Overnight Oats are very cool and hip. A new breakfast idea of today. It’s not a cook method of making oatmeal. You have to put the oatmeal in the refrigerator and fridge it in for overnight. There are so many recipes and methodes for making overnight oats out there. It’s healthy and you sure have a great start of the day. Oatmeal is very good for you. You have a full feeling and you don’t have the urge to snack. If you use oatmeal with milk you get a Lot of protein inside.
You have to cook the oatmeal before you can eat it. But there is another method. Overnight Oats are made with rolled oats. You can soak the oatmeal. But the method i’am using is with milk and yoghurt. That softened the grain and becomes the same texture if you would cooke it.

Why should you try it, because it is easy to make. They take a fraction of your time, they are perfect for on the go and to use for meal prep. Oats promote a healthy gut environment. If you ar looking for a balanced breakfast with carbs, fat, protein, and fiber than this breakfast is right your alley. And it also good for loosing weight.
How to make your Overnight Oats
You need a jar or a food storage container with a lid. I put a cup of rolled oatmeal in the jar and cover it with nut milk or milk and Greek yoghurt. The oats have to be entirely covered. Throw in some chia seeds, vanilla extract, maple syrup, fruit, nuts and other ingredients you like. Whisk all the ingredients together. You will have a pudding-like porridge. Just like I said the you can create your own recipe. the possibilities are endless.
Overnight Oats refrigerate
You should store your jar or storage container in the refrigerator. So you can keep the food safe. Let it soak for 7 or 8 hours. You can eat it cold but also put it in the microwave for a minute and eat it warm. Oats are not pasteurized. We have added milk or nut milk and yoghurt and if you leave it out of the refrigerator you can get ill. You can only keep overnight oats only for 4 days in the refrigerator.
Strawberry blueberry Protein Overnight Oats
- 1/3 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup plain greek yoghurt
- 1/2 cup milk or nut milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbs vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup strawberries
- You need a jar or a food storage container with a lid. Chop the strawberries and blueberries and mash them together in a bowl.
- Put all the other ingredients the oats, the milk, the yoghurt, the mash fruit, vanilla extract , chia seeds if you want and maple syrup in the jar and whisk together.
- Put the jar in the refrigerator and pop it the next day out. Use topping with strawberries and blueberries. Eat it cold or put it for a minute in the microwave.
